Michelle Sobel

Michelle Sobel is a founder and the Chief Creative Officer of Emmi Solutions, LLC, a healthcare technology company that helps health organizations engage consumers to become active managers of their care. In 2003, EmmiŽ was introduced to the provider market as an innovative way to improve and document the process of informed consent. Since then, Emmi has expanded its solutions for hospitals, disease management companies, health plans, and others to reach consumers and drive healthy behaviors.

Ms. Sobel brings over 20 years experience in both interactive media and film entertainment to the field of healthcare communication. Prior to creating Emmi, she was Creative Director of Jellyvision, producer of the "You Don't Know Jack" computer game franchise. "You Don't Know Jack" became an instant best-seller and redefined the casual games market with its unique blend of wit and voice-response interactivity. In addition, Michelle has consulted with Fortune 100 companies to generate new consumer product ideas and product line extensions. Previously, Michelle was a Hollywood film editor, working with such directors as Martin Scorsese, James Ivory and Elaine May. Her editing credits include Merchant-Ivory's Remains of the Day, Howards End and an Oscar-nominated short film, The Duke of Groove.
